Abstract

 

Tatar drama of the second half of the 20th century has undergone significant changes. The weakening of ideological control, which previously focused on the themes of collectivization, labor, and revolutionary struggle, has opened the way for artistic exploration of the issues of preserving and strengthening national identity, historical memory, and ethnic spiritual traditions. The purpose of this work is to typify stage productions and study their historical and literary development, highlighting the key vectors of movement. The subject of this research is the dynamics of the thematic and content-related features of Tatar drama from 1960 to 2000, which reflects its liberation from the Soviet ideological canon and its transition to the affirmation of national issues. During the development of the material, the dynamics of the transformation of creative attitudes from following the official ideological doctrine to the artistic exploration of national identity issues were revealed. The findings confirm that the evolutionary path of stage literature was marked by the rejection of Soviet mythologization and the emergence of a new aesthetic based on ethnic traditions and universal values. The figurative and allegorical structure was enriched with new symbols and metaphors that reflect the specific features of national worldview. The study focused on identifying the main thematic areas, which helped to track the evolution and changes in Tatar drama during the study period. The artistic language has been enriched with complex symbolism and metaphors that reflect the national worldview. As a result, there have been significant shifts in the character system and the nature of the central conflict. In the 1960s and 1970s, the stage literature was dominated by a positive, creative hero whose goals were inextricably linked to a collective ideal. However, in the 1980s and 2000s, new characters emerged, often in opposition to established social norms.
