Authors' rights and licensing
Authors who publish their articles in the journal "Scientific Tatarstan. Humanities" thereby agree to the following terms:
-
Authors keep the copyright to their work. At the same time, they give the journal the right to publish their work for the first time under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows others to share, copy, adapt, and use the material, including for commercial purposes, as long as they give proper credit and link to the original publication in this journal.
-
Authors keep the right to make separate agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of their published article. For example, they can place the published version in an institutional repository, on a personal website, or in a book. This is allowed only if they include a link to the article's original publication in this journal.
-
Authors have the right to place their manuscript online (for example, in an institutional repository or on a personal website) before and during the journal's peer-review process. This can help to encourage productive discussion and may increase citations to the future work (see The Effect of Open Access).
