acceptance of articles

1. Submission of Articles
Manuscripts are submitted via the journal’s website. To publish an article, the author(s) must register on the journal’s website ntatarstan.ru and submit their materials in accordance with the manuscript formatting requirements, including:

  • A complete manuscript containing full identification markers, formatted according to the author guidelines.

  • An anonymous manuscript with all author identification data removed.

  • A cover letter signed by all authors in the order they appear in the manuscript, indicating the corresponding author.

Authors have access to all versions of their manuscript (at the time of submission, during peer review, and after open publication). The OJS system allows tracking of the article’s lifecycle from submission to publication.

2. Procedure for Technical Compliance Review
The author's manuscript undergoes an originality check via the “Антиплагиат ВУЗ” (Anti-Plagiarism University) system, used by the publisher to detect plagiarism in academic, research, and publishing activities. The minimum acceptable originality threshold for a manuscript is 75%. The Editorial Board rejects manuscripts that fall below this threshold, or in which the system detects plagiarism, misappropriation of others’ work, or unacknowledged borrowing. Editors also review the manuscript for compliance with structural and technical requirements and assess its alignment with the journal's scope.

Within 7 days, authors receive confirmation of the manuscript's receipt in the publishing system and notification regarding its compliance or non-compliance with the journal's requirements. If authors decline to revise their materials, they must notify the Editorial Office of their withdrawal from publication. If authors do not return a revised version within one month from the date the feedback was sent—even in the absence of notification from the authors declining to revise—the Editorial Office will remove the manuscript from consideration.

3. Article Peer Review Procedure
Within one month, the Editorial Office notifies the author(s) of the peer review results. If the review contains recommendations for corrections and revisions, the Editorial Office sends the author the review text with a request to incorporate the suggestions in a revised version or to provide a reasoned rebuttal. The revised (reworked) article is then resubmitted for another round of review.

If authors decline to revise the materials, they must notify the Editorial Office of their withdrawal from publication. If authors do not return a revised version within two months from the date the review was sent—even in the absence of notification from the authors declining to revise—the Editorial Office will remove the manuscript from consideration.

4. Article Acceptance for Publication
The decision to publish in the journal is based on the fulfillment of all requirements for the submitted manuscript and the positive evaluations of the reviewers, members of the Editorial Board, and the Editor-in-Chief. After the decision is made, the author(s) are notified of the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript for publication.

5. Text Proofreading
The Editorial Office reserves the right to carry out scientific and stylistic editing of submitted materials, coordinating any modifications to the article with the author(s). After the proofreading process, authors submit a completed license agreement through the publishing system.

The date of acceptance for the issue is the date on which the editor approves the final version of the article for publication.
